Evok I checked this out on a whim and was absolutely blown away. I'm no expert on techno and the sort, but I can definitely tell you this is the sound of a master at work - the production and atmosphere alike are crisp, well-shaped and finely textured, opening up a humid headspace rich with flowing shades of turquoise and indigo draped in the camouflage of an urban nightscape.

Gordon returns to InFiné for his sophomore effort, the Coelacanthe EP. The title references an ancestral fish, which survived centuries by hiding in the depths of seas. Fittingly, the title-track is led by elusive mermaid voices perched alongside an oscillation of raw synth tides. In other parts, 'Aokighara' blends hypnotic loops with lo-fi notes to create something spiritual.
